Examiner: Woody Harrleson & others supposedly being offered roles in ’The Hunger Games’

In one of the strangest bits of casting news to come out of The Hunger Games, the latest report claims that Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, and Lenny Kravitz are all close to being offered roles in the film.

According to New York Magazine, Harrelson is being offered the role of Seneca Crane, the head gamemaker in The Hunger Games. No word on what roles Tucci and Kravitz are allegedly being offered.

Though all three actors would certainly add some additional star power to the production, it seems unlikely that such well-knowns would be interested in relatively small characters. Harrelson and Tucci could certainly play any number of character roles in The Hunger Games, though Kravitz in particular feels like a random choice.

Tell us in the comments: could you see any of these three actors as a character in The Hunger Games? Do you think this is a legitimate report, or just a crazy rumor?
