The creators of the best-selling Twilight parody Nightlight are back, and this time theyre tackling The Hunger Games.The Hunger But Mainly Death Games by Aaron Geary and John Bailey Owen will hit stores on November 15th, but you can now read the first chapter for free online.Though parodies can sometimes offend, The Hunger But Mainly Death Games is written cleverly, with fans of the original book in mind. It mocks without insulting … well, for the most part. But it wouldnt really be a parody if it didnt insult just a little bit, right?The cover art even features a “Mockstrich” that mimics the Mockingjay image that has become so iconic in The Hunger Games fandom. The creators even came up with their own slogan: “may the odds let there be toilet paper in the arena.
